POSITION CONTENTS & RESPONSABILITIES

As Communications Director, your main responsibility is to effectively position Artilium to the market. Your versatile task package includes, among other things:

A) Create and manage the content of our highly interactive and informative website, and make sure our external website designers follow the company's guidelines.
C) Manage an aggressive global media campaign, to position the company as an industry trailblazer, in line with the requirements necessary as a publicly-traded company.
C) Work collaboratively with our management and external agencies to create core messaging and high-impact Powerpoint presentations, that differentiate and effectively position the company and its technology to a variety of audiences.
D) Develop optimal relationships with marketing teams of key partners and customers, and communicate about the collaborative innovations resulting from these alliances.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

For this important position only DYNAMIC and AMBITIOUS personalities qualify, and should possess the following qualifications:

1. You have a proven and solid experience with similar tasks as described above from A to D, preferably in mobile telecommunications.
2. Having followed a higher education is a bonus, but your experiences in active marketing and creating and editing effective Powerpoint presentations are far more important.
3. You are a clear communicator and know how to meet your targets, thanks to your strategic understanding and inventive approach.
4. Being a flexible person who likes to take the initiative, this reflects on your driven personality and self-starting abilities.
5. You are a native English speaker and would preferably be able to understand Dutch.

THE COMPANY

ARTILIUM nv, located in Brugge, is a dynamic and fast-growing company that is active in the development and supply of software technology, services and advice for fixed and mobile telecom operators and service providers. With its 40 employees, the company realised a turnover of seven million Euros over the last financial year. It is profitable and is listed on the AIM stock exchange.

In close collaboration with Microsoft, ARTILIUM is at the front of the Telco 2.0 revolution, which will allow mobile operators to migrate to full IP networks. As a result, they can use the advantages of the fast application and service models of the Web, and offer their customers the next generation in mobile services, which combine the Web with traditional telecom.

Since it was founded, ARTILIUM has been approaching telecommunication in a different, more effective way. The company developed the "ARTA Mobile Services Framework" - an open, secure and extensible service delivery platform, which allows telecom operators to better manage their commercial and operational processes. In addition, thanks to this solution, they can substantially expand their service portfolio with regards to i.e. new mobile applications.

ARTILIUM was the first company to commercialise a solution for Mobile Virtual Network Operators, which allows for running a virtual mobile phone network under one's own name by using an existing mobile operator's network. The ARTA framework also features location-based mobile services, allowing developers to deliver personalised and location-specific end user services.

ARTILIUM recently signed a major licensing deal with KPN Mobile International. Our software will allow KPN to open up its network to developer communities and rapidly deliver a broad range of new services. This is an important initiative for KPN and a significant step forward for ARTILIUM. Our company is entering a new phase of fast growth, as it rolls out its platform across the KPN group.

In view of ARTILIUM's planned international expansion and to support the development of the innovative products mentioned above, there is a need to strengthen the organisation with a dynamic and qualified Communications Director.
